Services
The Citrus County Health Department offers the following family planning services.

  • Health history
  • Physical exam including pap smearOpens in new window and breast examOpens in new window
  • Family planning education
  • Counseling and referrals
  • Birth control provided as prescribed by clinic practitioners
  • Sterilization referrals for men and women
  • Pregnancy testing
  • No abortion services provided

Birth Control PillsEligibility
No income eligibility.  Open to all women of childbearing age.

Cost
Services based on ability to pay (sliding fee scale).

Services offered in all three locations.  Same day appointments are available.

Family Planning Clinic Comes to Crystal River

Starting October 1, 2008 Citrus County Health Department will also have Family Planning Clinic at our Crystal River office every Wednesday. Please call (352)795-6233 on Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning to Schedule an appointment.
